Life..changes so fast

Life happens so fast..things change...kids grow up way too quickly and most of all things that were important change so quickly...why?

So now with DS in year 2 and going great guns and still loving school despite having a few learning challenges along the way. DD starting kindy ..2 days a week...I seem to have even less time for me!!!

Why do people take so much from us and give nothing back...I know my kids do ..but that is there job and I suppose their right as my children....They do give me loads of fun memories  (maybe being a bit harsh) But in general my life this week is travelling nicely...but I feel down...no real reason why ...maybe just the end of term...but while I'm feeling down more and more crappy things keep happening..like someone stealing our camper trailer...this I feel should of never happened but yet again I let my life be steered by others who then make U turns that cause huge collisions.

Please give me some strength to regain control of the wheel of this crazy life!!!

Happy Australia Day

Hope you all had a great Aussie Day.

Ours was very relaxing.....just a day off. A trip to Bunnings and started to prepare to paint 2 years after we moved in..better late than never.

Have started going through the recipe books and doing up my Meal planner.

 

1. Green chicken curry

2. Gnocchi with cheese and basil sauce

3. Ham and cheese souffle

4.Homemade pizza's

5. Roast ?

6.Spaghetti Bolognaise

7. Homemade meat pies

8.Chicken and sweetcorn soup

9. Congamberi (prawns with pasta)

10.Roast chicken with homemade wedges and salad

11. Fried rice.

 

 Now some of these I have made often, but others are new. I will post recipes and photo's as I get time.

If you have any more ideas pass them on to me!!!

Great Idea

I have had a great idea!!! (well I think it is)

I am going to meal plan...kinda already do but am going to try new things.

In order to do this I'm calling out to all of you to help.

So help..the week will start 7/2/2011.

I'm going to try to have my plan ready by fridays.

So please help.

Fun days

Yes they do exist!!! We had a fantastic fun family day at Adventure World.

Was a very busy day and a stressful start to the day, but after we over came all of the drama's of packing up and heading out for the day we were off.

Fun was only 20mins away, we were off to a day of unlimited rides, waterslides and swimming. Cost for the day was $125 but well worth it. This one of the first big outings to a place like that where the children have gone..now we are over the phase of nappies and day sleeps we were away.

Great day was had plenty of rides heaps of swims, came home completely shattered. Yes we will do it again. Life is so short but full of heaps of fun.

The simple things

Life is crazy here on a daily basis.. Work takes over or the daily things! But why? I'm sure this wasn't my plan. Days, months and years fly past! Then things happen and we are reminded to take stock of things and re- think. I'm so lucky to have my lovely family and friends to fill my day, even if you all really annoy me at times! The bed time thing is still crazy! The fridge is clean thanks to the lovely babysitter who found time last night to do that while I was working later than planned. Have had a lovely quiet day with fairly quiet kids and we have all just been chilling, nice glass of wine and curry for dinner. Big day at adventure world planned for tomorrow, on what would of been my Dad's birthday! Wish he was coming! These are the days to remember and hold tight even when there are bad ones! Life will always be crazy with 2 kids, but I would not want it any other way!!!

Bed time..why it isn't working!!

Well ....last nights plan was a bit wayward. Dinner was fine but bed was all wrong again!!!! Why oh why has this gone so crazy...got them up at 6.20am as they had to be at daycare by 7am so I could make it to work on time. They were in bed by 8.40pm but DS was the first to sleep well after 10pm and at 6yrs old I feel this is way too late. DD was far worse not asleep till 11.25pm ...so why? I am at a loss we went for a 1hr ride/walk, read stories...but no!!! Hoping tonight will be a better night DD has had an ear infection this doesn't help!!! Now I am open to ideas...maybe not tonight as I am exhausted even if they aren't!!

Thermomix Recipe 1

Have just converted a great Chocolate chip and cookie pie to be made using a Thermomix can be made the usual way too let me know if you want to do it the other way
